Cranfills Gap is located right in the heart of Texas, on the border of Bosque County. Known as "the gap" to locals, our town is full of Norwegian heritage and a strong sense of community pride. Cranfills Gap is served by State Highway 22.

George Eaton Cranfill settled near the future site of the gap around 1851, but the first sign of organized community development did not occur until May of 1879.
